A ThruArt kit is an evening in a box. Here is how it goes at home, and how studios order kits for a whole table of guests.

At home

  1. The Tall Mosaic Lamp kit boxSTEP 01Pick a kitA mosaic lamp, a ceramic piece or a resin pour. Most lamps come in twelve designs: choose yours on the kit page. Giving it away? The Tall lamp also comes in a VIP gift box.
  2. Everything in a mosaic lamp kit, laid out on a tableSTEP 02Open the boxEverything is inside and packed for one maker: glass, glue, grout, paints, tools, gloves and a step-by-step guide.
  3. Setting glass on a mosaic lampSTEP 03Make itTwo to four hours for a lamp, one to two for a ceramic piece, about two hours for resin. Stop whenever you like and finish another night.
  4. A finished mosaic lamp glowing on a bedside tableSTEP 04Keep itGrout the lamp and switch it on, bake the plate in your home oven, or let the resin cure overnight. Then it's yours.
